Stitchery Update and More Quilt Show Photos

After a long busy weekend it was nice to sit down for a few hours to get in some hand stitching time
block 5
As you can see a bit more progress has been made on block 5 of the Hocuspocusville Quilt, I love how doing hand embroidery puts me into a state of pure relaxation and bliss.

I finally chose a project to work on when I need a break from the black floss, the little Hamsa Hand will add just enough colors to give my eyes a break.
I made one last year and didn't think to snap a photo of it before I sent it off to my friend I'll try to remember this time.

Once again I am linking my post here for the Monday stitchery link party where other talented bloggers post what they are stitching.

  4. You are progressing well with your HocusPocusVille! Thank you for showing us all these quilts and their labels - some people forget to show that info and whilst we don't know who the makers are it is nice to read about them! I do love a quilt show and agree it is very disappointing if you expect to see traders stalls and there were only two!
I have just seen your gold box - what a treasure!
    Have a great week.

  5. Hand stitching does the same for me in that it relaxes me.

Your Hocus Pocus block is looking good. I'm looking forward to seeing how the Hamsa Hand looks when it's finished. I've never seen one before.

Whenever I go to a quilt show, I'm always in awe thinking of the amount of love and time that went into the making of each one. And then seeing so many all together like that... just imagine!

Thanks so much for linking up to last week's Stitchery Link Party and for linking back. Aloha hugs!
