On
Tuesday afternoon while pushing a shopping cart on my way into the
store some man in his cart going way to fast hit the cart right out
of my hands, I was knocked back about 3 steps but didn't fall and I
wasn't hurt. This man gets out of his car and ask if I'm okay saying
he didn't see me. I say I'm okay and you were driving too fast to
see me, its a parking lot not a race track. Then he finally sees the
damage the cart made to the front end of his car, nice big dent
smash. He ask what I am going to do, Me I'm going shopping you sir
may call the police and make an accident report.. He stood there
shaking his head saying he didn't see me. Perhaps next time you
should look where you are driving. Lucky me for having the sense to
grab a cart from the corral which is something I don't usually do.
Luckier for him I didn't beat him senseless with the cart which I
wanted to do. If I didn't have the cart to take the hit this would
have ended differently.
Oh my goodness. I'm glad you weren't hurt Deb.
ReplyDeleteHow scary! I am glad you are okay and I am glad the driver stopped to check on you. I know of 3 hit and runs that occurred this summer involving parked cars (thankfully, only cars were damaged.) And someone in front of my mom and I at the grocery store on Monday was telling the checker that they had just been released from the hospital after being hit by a car that did not stop. It's a crazy world sometimes. Sending hugs your way!
ReplyDeleteYikes! I'm glad you weren't seriously injured, that is terrible!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh! What are YOU going to do? Well, you have far more control than I would have. So glad you didn't get hurt.

Crikey, Deb! Glad you weren't hurt! Most people drive too fast, it's so annoying!

Wow. I'm so glad you weren't hurt. People drive WAY too fast everywhere, including parking lots. I've seen people speed up between traffic bumps!
