Choosing Yarn

These are the two yarns I am deciding on for the Kimono Kardi for class today, the blue yarn in the front are a Bamboo/Silk blend, very soft and shiny, the yarn balls behind are a blend of Camel Hair, Cotton, Acrylic, Wool.  I will work out a swatch of each to see how the stitches look and once I see the sample at the shop I will get a better idea which yarn to use. The bamboo/silk is very soft and usually drapes well, the camel hair blend, while soft may not be a good choice.

  1. I have to make do with yarn I can get at Walmart. Plus, I'm not advanced enough to take the plunge into speciality yarns. I love the blue, but since that's my favorite color, what else could I choose.

Looking forward to seeing what you choose and how you use it.
