I haven't made as much progress on the Aine hand embroidery piece as I had hoped but a few stitches are better than none.
I have a few regrets adding backing to the piece and using the pearl cotton while it stitches okay sticking the needle through the fabric is a bit harder than I expected which surprises me since the backing fabric is quite thin. Right now I am debated pulling out all the thread and either removing the backing of using regular embroidery floss or just keep on stitching.
In the mean time I have another project drawn and ready here is a little sneak peek at what I will be working on next.
I'm using a piece of the neutral paisley fabric I love so much for this piece. I will be linking my post to Kathy's Quilts today and at Super Mom No Cape on Monday.

those witches look to be an interesting project!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun fabrics to go with a neat stitching project! Good luck with your decision on the pearl cotton. That is always a tough one.
